WHAT OUR AUTHORS ARE SAYING ABOUT US

"With trepidation and glee and joy and nervousness and down right fear we opened the package this morning, sitting on a mountain in the sunlight and refreshing breeze with our coffee. (Mine being far from the package since I drowned my computer two days ago.)

The book is FANTASTIC!!!!  We’re breathless. I cried. Winston can’t put it down!  It looks at least a million times better than we ever imagined!!!

And it’s all because of you two. Thanks for being within driving distance of us last April. And for being so encouraging that first meeting. All the work, the back and forth and changes and consternation’s — it has paid off in spades!!!

May we all make a lot of money on this baby!!  We’ll do our best to make that happen!

Thanks for all your help. We couldn’t be prouder!"

Sincerely, Win and Cyn

We love working with you!

Thanks for staying on top of this!!  You’re terrific!!"

To whom it may concern:
I have self published four local history books but never a novel.

Thanks to Jeff Schlesinger and Barringer Publishing, my book is now on Amazon.com, print and kindle version, and I have a professional looking website as a result of Jeff’s other company, AIM.

The worst thing I can say about the entire process, is that editing is a pain in the neck. To do a good job, requires a team effort and Jeff makes a great partner.

He has answered all of my questions and some of them were silly, I’m sure. Most importantly, however, he is anxious to please, has a great attention to detail, and clearly possesses the experience required for the sage advice that every inexperienced author needs.

Jeff’s company is NOT a vanity press. He is hybrid publisher with high standards and a  tremendous track record. Most especially, you can trust him because he is a man of his word.

Accordingly I recommend him without reservation and invite authors to contact me directly if they have any questions.

Sincerely yours,

"Jeff Schlesinger of Barringer Publishing has made the journey of publishing a book by this first time author a quite and enjoyable and educational experience He and his staff have been very conscientious and detailed in editing a manuscript that flows well, is not redundant, and is virtually error free. That is no small accomplishment in a 120 page book. Accolades go to Jeff and his superb personnel for their excellent work and for making the process such a pleasant experience."

"I didn’t have to go with Barringer Publishing, but I am happy I did. Here’s why. I had two offers from small presses to publish my book. The War of the Itchy Balls and Other Tales from Brooklyn is a coming of age memoir. My book is about Brooklyn during my formative years, the 50s and 60s with all its fun history and idiosyncrasies, that the publisher, Jeff Schlesinger was familiar with being a native New Yorker. I researched his company, met with him and was impressed with his knowledge of the publishing business and his dedication.

Let me add that he drove across the state three times to meet with me. I talked, mostly he took notes. I was impressed.

The publishing process was exceptional. When he says five complete edits, he means it. By the fifth and final edit, I loved the work the editor had done. When they showed me the cover design, I was wowed. It is important to know that your book remains yours, as I was involved in all decision making throughout the process.

All of their edits and design ideas were spot on.That’s why the reviews of my book have been so good they are humbling.

Since the book has been published, Jeff has been a partner in helping me understand marketing, directing me to marketing opportunities and jumped in with several things he did on his own. His video promo of my book is so good that I want it played in my casket so I can watch eternally.

Last point. I did a lot of research on hybrid publishers. The first thing I found out is they are legit and the new wave in professional publishing. The second is the price charged can vary substantially. Barringer Publishing is a great ROI. It’s your money to spend. I spent mine on them. It was a wonderful investment."
