Has Marketing Changed Over the Years?

Years ago, when Hans Christian Andersen would read to the children in his town, he signaled that a story was about to begin by sending up balloons—and the children came running.


Marketing has changed enormously since then, yet in a fundamental way it hasn’t changed at all. We are still sending up balloons. First through print media, then radio and television, followed by social media, and now AI. The tools evolve, the reach expands, but the purpose remains the same: to alert the audience, gather attention, and invite people to come hear the story.
